I just became aware of PayLoadz, which, like ClickBank, specializes in the sale of digitally-delivered products and which also offers an affiliate program. I'm wondering if anyone has done a feature-by-feature comparison of PayLoadz vs. Clickbank.
I've tried both ClickBank and PayLoadz. I haven't done a feature-by-feature comparison, per se. The thing I didn't like about PayLoadz is their fee structure. They can either take 15% off of each sale, or you pay a flat monthly fee. That 15% is significantly higher than ClickBank. Plus you also have to factor in your PayPal fee. I like the fact that Clickbank already has a well established presence in the affiliate community. It's easier to tell an affiliate to create a hoplink for an account they already have, than asking them to go to PayLoadz and create an entirely new account. FYI, I also like Paydotcom. Similar outfit as ClickBank. If your product is geared towards online marketing, they've got an established affiliate base. But I can't speak for other niches. If you're targeting another niche, ClickBank might be the best option.
ClickBank, I comparison seems a lot simpler. Its find product, like product, wright review, add hoplink, finished, let sales roll in. Although there does seem a couple of loops to jump through to get paid. It does seem very easy to do.
Thanks, guys, for your helpful responses. I didn't realize that I was expected to pay a regular PayPal fee on top of the 15% commission on PayLoadz. That pretty much kills any appeal it might have had for me.
Well, now I am learning about Payloadz, I will take a look at them. I would think that Clickbank is better in terms of reputation off the bat.
