How Does Article Marketing Compare With Your Other Methods

I know a lot of people that use article writing and article marketing as their main form of promoting their website. The reality is though that this alone is not going to get them the results that they desire.

For me; article writing and article marketing has been extremely fruitful over the last few years. Not only have I managed to get instant traffic, instant sales and long term back links, but by writing articles I get to understand a lot more about promotion techniques.

I’m interested to see if anyone else has a certain technique that they focus on, or whether everyone is just using a nice range of techniques to keep their sites ticking over.

 

You are right.Article marketing is the best way to get the maximum exposure and results.However forum activity is also helping me t get those fruitful traffic.

 

If you have your article point to a blog or landing page that is an amazon review, it should help drive traffic to that page and increase your conversions...

 

I think submitting fresh and quality articles only gives you benefit, if you try submit one articles to hundreds of article directories then it may not work as it is not possible that all your 100 articles would be indexed in Google. After few submission, it becomes duplicate content.

For selling products and services through article marketing, I think it is very tough, you can sell on your site as well, but you would find selling on article directories, suppose if someone is reading articles they don't read the whole article they just check heading and then they click on mainly Adsense ads as these ads titles are very attractive to visitors. Before Adsense ads,your link would become less visible..

 

Article marketing is a very good way to get backlinks to your sites from related pages. keep in mind that if you submit the same article to more than 1 directory you have to spin the article to avoid duplicate content. then you can do mass submit with software like the one in my signature
once this is done you'll enjoy alot of links going to your sites with the keywords you choose as anchor
of course there is no way to get to top SE rankings by only doing article marketing. the top sites have a big mix of different types of links

I feel forum posting and blog commenting are far superior and legitimate ways of blog promotion. Article marketing more promotes the directories than our blogs or sites- at least i feel so.

a good idea is to use forum to drive traffic for those articles, i mean, go to relevant forums hungry for information and you will be doing ok .

 

For a normal people s difficult to write all the time articles, for example , me i could stay all day long on forums others and i enjoy it and is because i could write without taking care a lot of the structure...

 

articles are the best way to get high PR back links for your website...they give small amounts of traffic from the actual articles but they do well for links

 

Im Very good writing articles, i have a very good technique that i use for it, but right now i prefer research using market samurai and then outsource the article writting.

THE EFFECTIVENESS depends on the niche in my opinion...

you can put same effort but SOME NICHES will do better because there is less competition and thus easier to rank high with articles...while other niches are harder...

 

Article writing is definitely a good way to gain links and definitely worth spending time on but at the same time article writing isn't useful if you get dependent on it. At the same time the articles you write need to have great QUALITY. This is how think of things, the higher the better.

Article marketing is what I use mainly, but I'm hearing more and more about how video marketing is coming on strong.

 

Yes this is true...think about it, yes there are a lot of videos on the internet with youtube, etc. But there is WAY more written content...It is far easier to get a video ranking higher in google than it is your website that you are only marketing via article submission. SEO, strong content Article Marketing, investing in targeted traffic ex. serioussitetraffic.com, and forum posting...all working together and you have a great system for solid traffic flow.

 

I'm surprised how many ofu rate forum posting so highly! How exactly do u all gain such benefit from active participation on here?

 

Not just here...are you a member of the Warrior Forum? It has been a vital piece of the puzzle for me and many others. The community there, like here, is very knowledgable and willing to help...they just have more members

 

Some people like article marketing but I don't see it being all that useful if you have other opportunities. If you are going to take the time to write a good article for the sake of a backlink, why waste that effort on an article directory? Why not get creative and try to get it published on a site that's a real authority in your niche? At the very least, find a blog that will let you do a guest post.
