How does an affiliate network work?

I recently published an article ''How does an affiliate network work?''
just want to share with you guys,,,give me feed back.

 

Well you sign up to the network, sell their products ( you direct people from your site through a special link to sale's page of the product) whet a sale is made through your link you get a commision.

Of course i am new in this forum. This my 2nd or 3rd post. But i found this forum very interesting. This is a great source of knowledge. So i want to keep in touch with this forum always.

Affiliate programs also known as associate programs may be define as a process in which an online merchant web sites pays affiliate web sites a commission to direct traffic to them. Then the affiliate web sites post links to the merchant site and are pain according to a particular way.

I hope this may clear the basis of the working.

Thanks for the list of aff. programs. I think some folks don't even know which programs are legit and which are not.
