    Even alexa don't know it ..as alexa don't believe itself that's why alexa itself has no rank in data lol!

    I have the Alexa toolbar and the widget and even though my traffic is going up my Alexa ranking is going down. :rolleyes:

    Many sites having huge traffic have very high alexa, and few having very low traffic having nice alexa

    A lot of great resources are being developed this days and if your visitors amount doesn't increase then that's the result for Alexa going down.

    I've managed advertising contracts with a couple of customers and for some reason normal brick and mortar businesses get alexa (the don't get google page rank), and they do pay attention to the ranking of a site to help determine if they will spend their ad dollars on it. So it's worth the effort to have some good ranking if you are planning on creating a good sales pitch.

    Dont worry about alexa rank. You should use alexa rank only to see the traffic variations in your site. if you have a webmaster related blog chances are that you will have a high alexa rank. Chances are very low if you have a business or fashion or such sites with less webmaster readership like my small business blog. But hey i have a nice alexa rank BTW
