How does adsense really work?

I'm kinda confused with how adsense work. What if I have 500,000 pageviews a day but zero clicks, that does mean that I don't earn from cpm? I noticed that less views with more clicks earns more. How come? thanks

 

If u have 50000 pageviews and no clicks then ur ad placement is the worst that anyone has ever done..... and its highly possible that anyone get this much pageview and yet not a single click....

And its nothing that if u have less views u will get more click or sort. it all depends on ur ad placements and also the traffic quality.

 

I suggest put your adsense ads on most popular part of your page.. put them in a way that will be highly visible to visitors.. with 500,000 page views and no click, something must be wrong with your ad placement..

 

I was exaggerating, I was just assuming. I wonder why less views with more clicks earns more than more views than no clicks..

 

If you place your ads at the right place, you will definitely get a decent CTR.
