if you happen to use all of the keyphrases throughout th epage/site/incoming links?

I'm mainly asking because I just looked up some of the bids on adwords- there are 4 variations, two of them pay almost 4 times as much as the other two. but they're virtually identical.

would google just go for the highest price one?

there're sides of the story. Google will show the same ads no matter which variations of keywords you use on your page. They use latent semantic index to calculate the correlations of keywords. Google's smart pricing will decide how much you will get for those ads. If users arrive your page in a high paying keywords (for instance, search term in search engines), you'll be paid higher, and wise verse. For the same ad, you could get $1 click, or 25 cents.
