    Hi,
I was just wondering, how does adsense determine the keywords for my website? I have a few proxies that I run. I get as much as 9 clicks but but get only .18$. Even more shocking. In the past 8 days, I got as many as 135 clicks and only 8$s made! This is crazy!! can you guys help please.

    Thanks

adsense use robot to crawl pages and determine keywords
but proxy is a special niche because not all customers want they ads be shown on proxies
thats why price for clicks is so cheap

i had the same problems with a old proxy site i used to own. this was the solution i came up with.

i created a blog on my proxy page and added relevant content. google places ads targeted to your content. so the the more targeted your conetent, the more targeted your ads will be

    Hi,
What I am planning is to add a lot of content on the website itself. the site is http://www.staycover.com. What do you say? Instead of having a blog?

Google doesn't just look at keywords. They analyze a whole load of factors including incoming links.

The visitors to proxies are crap, mostly foreign I.p.'s that are worthless to advestisers and thats why you get crap cpc. You need to focus on other ways to monetize your proxies.

Have you tried adbrite, paypopup, and in-text advertising? The only way to make money with proxies now is to force feed ads to the visitors.
