How does a site like this work

    If i was interested in creating a site with the same idea but totally different content, how does it work. The site i was wondering about is: http://bensbargains.net/

    I understand the affiliate side of it. But how do they get all the postings? Is it automated with a database system or is it completely manually done with each listing?

    I am new to this area of website building and would like to learn what, if any, special programming is used to form a site like this.

    This site was made with php/mysql. Maybe the content management system used was php-nuke or some derivative. If you want to build a site like this you need to learn php.
