I am just wondering how a site with 50,000+ back link out rank a site with more than 186,000 back link. They both targeting a specific key phrase. So beside from back link what next important to it? If the site out rank the site with huge back link does it mean a site with 20,000 back link can out rank the site with 50,000 back link who's targeting same keyword? If so how can you do that? Let's see how you do that? Your inputs will be appreciated
There are several factors that made this possible. One is PR and another is relevancy of the link to your niche. Of course, the more relevant, the more weight it will carry.
I forgot to mentioned also that the site with 160,000 back link is PR 5 and the site with 50K back link have no back link. I have tried to check the source of back link and I can say both of this two sites are getting back link from site related to them.
it's the quality of the back links, not the quantity. maybe the 50k backlink site has better links from sites with better SERPs. also the age of the backlinks make a difference. too many backlinks in so short a time is not natural. google likes to see a slow progression.
Its about the quality of backlink you generate for the website. The website providing you with backlink, the page through which you get backlinks, if that page does have different backlink itself it plays more important then the normal backlinks.
It's also about the number of the links in the page linking to the site. For example if a PR5 page have 100 outgoing links it will count less than 1 PR2 page with only one outgoing link.
It depends on the quality of backlinks (relevance to content) and the keywords used in the search/SEO optimization for said keywords. That is it in a nutshell.
Although backlinks are very important, it is important to remember where they come from. If any of the sources are consider to be a "ban neighbor", the quality will be very low or discounted. Second, the on-page SEO will be better. Finally, what is the traffic to the site? to the pages?
