This is probably a weird question but how do you drink from a bottle, I noticed there's 2 ways, whole mouth over bottle or 1 lip inside.

How does everyone drink?

yes, exactly, 2-3 cms not more, otherwise the water will end up on then nose

 

1 lip inside - always the safest option to avoid embarrassing 'glugging' of liquid down your shirt! No, I'm not bullshitting - if you seal your mouth over the entire bottle you are preventing the inner pressure from equalising with the outer pressure.

 

I know I don't use my whole mouth because I would choke on the liquid! Either car away from the mouth (if sharing a drink lol) or just the lower lip on the bottle. Weird, never though about it til now lol

Yea it does but alot of people do it, more spit goes in that way.

 

I usually drink it from like 2-3 cm above the mouth but sometimes I take the bottle's neck into my mouth(I do wash the water with clean water afterwards).

 

Top lip, or the 2-4 cm thing..Putting the whole mouth on it, well it makes you look gay..At least where I'm from people would make fun of you if you did it..

 

depends, what kind of bottle is this? glass, plastic? what size? 12,20,24,36,48,64,128oz?? carbonated, no-carbonated? milk, soda, juice, beer, draino?

there are many factors that I consider prior to considering how to approach the bottle and extract the contents from within

 

I would not prefer touching the mouth while drinking from a bottle. But having said this, I would prefer to drink from a bottle by using a straw (pipe- form).

Agree with countryBoy! I lip inside (Safest option) or away from mouth when sharing.

 

u put both lips on the edge of the bottle, rather than outside or in

 

use bottle cap as a cup and pour into mouth.

 

Usually the upper lip is inside the bottle.
