when i feel down or not inspired to write, i simply take some break..say for 1-2 hours. it works dude!
Thanks for that but........English is not my first language, and I've been hearing a lot of young people say "dude" lately. What exactly is a "dude"?
The best way to write is to write FAST! That way you write using your own unique personality. Best articles are those which include personality in them by author, they are easier to read and look more genuine... So just start writing fast regardless of your mood you can do that anytime
@jacksarlo Interesting,I've not heard that before. You must be very good if you can produce quality writing ...while doing it fast.
If you are not in mood of writing then you have to do just a simple task that take cup of tea and have some rest and go for the books and journals for better mind development for your coming article or content. If you are not able to do so then take tutorial about your topic then you can easily write for that topic.
If I'm not in mood to write smth, I just change my activity and do something else. Or I browse in the Internet similar texts, articles to get inspired. But I think, that the best way to be always in mood is to rest awhile from mental activity.
It's unnecessary to force yourself to write smth... even if it's a simple article. Take a break, I dunno, play some videogames, or do something to get yourself in the right mood.
@Jennifert Having a cup of tea sounds workable, just to relax a bit might work. @EvaBrown89 Say hi to Adolf for me.......hmmmm...interesting username,I must say!(Braun) @Install Sometimes we have no choice but to force ourselves as time constraints leave us with little options.
Hi! I'm a blogger and i write articles about different topics everyday. As you said, maybe sometime when we are really not feeling so good, still we have to write. So, under such case, i just tell myself "Hey, girl, come on, take a deep breath and now you are going to do a good job!" It may sound very easy, i just want to tell you that you should give yourself some positive strength to back you when you are in a low mood.
Hi, I'm Anna. As you said unique personality in an article is most important, i quite agree with you! By the way, are you a writer or blogger? Actually i'm a blogger and looking for someone who are interested in my topics like loans, mountain bikes, travel guide, etc. If you are interested in it, send me an email--- . Thanks!
The best thing any writer can do when he/she is stuck for ideas is take an hour out and go for a walk. The fresh air will relax you, as will the gentle exercise. Not to mention the added benefit of getting some inspiration from things around you whilst out walking.
@aelara The outdoors can indeed be used for motivation, makes sense to me. @bob maxey Money motivates most of us.
I find listening to music or reading something of interest is a good way of 'zoning out' of the mood I'm in and that helps get me in the frame of mind I need to be in to write to the best of my ability.
I just research as much as I possibly can, research is easy. From there just rewording an article about the niche to feel productive and get some momentum while also learning the subject. Finally, I have so many facts and ideas to throw at the main article it makes the process of getting over the slump much easier.
It's a lot easier to write fast if you have done the proper research first, I find. If it's just not flowing, I'll take a walk to the park and clear my mind.
@MarTh- @agrius Doing lots of research prior to doing your writing, is what separates you as professionals from wannabe amateurs.
You can set your fingers on fire, one at a time. I guarantee that will motivate you to write, but you only have ten chances to find another motivator and you will have to use Dragon Speak Naturally, because you won't be able to type after that. Dictation only!
