How do you value a bid directory price?

    I agree that using a dropped domain name serves no purpose when it does not relate to the topic of your site at all. What other reason could there be for using it except to trick folks into thinking it is established when it really isn't?

    dropped domains have a strong pull in serps .For instance i have a pr6 dropped domain i got a month ago , i use it for gambling blogs and in 12 hours it made #3 in a HIGHLY COMPETITIVE keyword.I guess i am wrong to think SERPS is the most important thing a website can offer.

    Unless the PR6 domain was in a related niche I don't see why it would help SERPs and if it does help because of the other backlinks the site already had that 'advantage' will diminish as the old irrlevant backlinks disappear.
