PR doesn't have much value in my own personal sites because I don't sell links or anything like that on them. I'm more concerned with visitors. I try and make sure that my bounce rate is low and evaluate where people are leaving and make motifications there. I also am concerned about my traffic overall. I want to make sure I have real visitors interested in my website. The more targeted traffic the better. These are the two big ones I would imagine for any business website.

that depends. if the main revenue is from advertising and link sales then PR is a major factor. but for sites that does not rely on advertising money, revenue is the most important one.
PR doesn't matter at all, it's all about the revenue it generates (which automatically includes the concept of the website) and whether you have a good domain or not.
