How do you use YOUTUBE to attract traffic?

I guess I'm too old, is there some info somewhere on tips and tricks to using youtube to gain traffic to your website?

For me, it would specifically involve poker.

is your site about how to win at poker or what? create some youtube videos with a few clues/tips on poker, stating at the beginning and end of the video your website (to go to for more information and whatnot) along with a link in the topic descrip

 

Forget I even mentioned the poker site, not looking for tips on that specifically per se, just wondering what type of strategies / tactics people are using.

if you want some traffic from youtube, then you need to upload some videos and make them popular. or upload lots of videos and use the title, description, and the tags carefully so that thy can e found when searched. and of course you add your URL at the very beginning of your description including http:// that way people who watch the video can click and visit your site

I have a youtube channel with about 90 videos with a small sales pitch in the description box and they get me about 2 sales a day... Not bad considering that i spent about 6 hours on the project...

 

or find popular related video and comment on the video with a link. Just make sure your comment interesting enough to attract attention.

 

upload your own video...try to make it interesting (eg. tutorial)..place your link in it...it helps...

Best tactics for promoting your site through Youtube is- Creating a VIDEO on "how to use (your product)" or say it "Which is the best practice to lose your weight in 15 days" and etc.

 

Search for your niche on Youtube, then copy the tags from the nr1 search result. This will help to get your gig in the 'related' gigs section of the best viewed one. Well this trick used to work, not sure if it still works that way.

 

Best traffic tips for YouTube:

Pick a keyword that is highly related to your product or
website. My keyword was: Global NPN.

1. Post 1 video per week with link as FIRST thing in
description with full address including http://

2. Write a detailed description about your video including
your keyword in each paragraph

3. Include your keyword as tags with and without quotes:
"global npn" AND global npn

4. Include your keyword in your title but also make it
creative

5. Be your own first commenter. Ask a question in the
comment section.

6. Comment on other videos with the same keywords

7. Comment on other related channels

8. Post on Twitter/Facebook and share via your channels
bulletin option

9. Post on any blogs you have and share that post on
FB/Twitter too

10. Email your list your new video

Repeat as necessary.

In fact, my Global NPN review video not only ended up on the
top searches in YouTube for Global NPN and Global NPN
review, but it ended up on googles first page for those same
keywords for a while, but I dont know if it still on the
first page.

As a bonus, the owner of Global NPN contacted me and used my
video on the company page to describe the products!

As of writing this post, that particular video has 854 views
and has made me over $135 and took me about 2 hours to make,
edit, and syndicate.

If I can do this, you can definitely do this!

Yea what can be done with facebook is more social action. In terms or subs and friends need to be attained and looked after. You will need to add videos and build a form of relationshiP with your audience.
