I have just signed up to Hubpages, but I am not sure how to use this site to drive traffic to my websites. Any sugestions?
Just line article marketing. You get traffic from the search engines if you rank. Plus you get traffic from other hubpages members.
In hubpages you can't directly advertise your site, so you need to create some catchy lines in your content with your link that blends well with your article. Hubpages are do follow and show on Search engine result page, and it is the reason why people are using it.
Hi, Hope this helps you. 1. Take the tour so you know how HubPages works. 2. Publish 5 Original Hubs before you worry about Affiliate Offers 3. Participate in Hub Forums and Join other peoples Fan List # HubPages has a lot of respect in the eyes of Google… if you pick highly targeted “long-tail†keyword phrases your HubPage Articles will rank very high automatically. Sure it still helps to create backlinks to your articles, but even if you don’t you’ll still get traffic. # HubPages has spent a lot of time and money optimizing Ad Placement. Adsense Ads will automatically be placed in the best locations on your page. No worries! # HubPages gives you specific directions on how to sign up for Adsense, Amazon, eBay and even Kontera! The secret is to have a very high hub score, to utilize long tail very specific keyword phrases in your Hub Titles, and to NOT add any affiliate links in your hubs until they are already well commented and scoring high. Let your hubs “season†or “ageâ€. Get them scoring high. Once Your Hubs are scoring high then go back and add Amazon and/or eBay modules. Trust me on this one… I know what I’m doing… I had a HubScore over 90 in less than a month! If you add a bunch of affiliate links early no one will vote your Hubs up and you won’t make very much money. If you wait and add them after your hub If you need any help just pm me.
Hubpages is worth doing for quality backlinks. They don't accept junk, so Google rates their links quite highly. You have to be a highly-rated lens master before your links are "do-follow" but once they are you will get some good "link juice!"
hubpages is great but.... you need to have 75 or higher to get any backlink. Do not depend on it solely. If you are looking for traffic use additional web2.0 sites use the following method for traffic. 1. get a unique article written 2. rewrite it several times create several headlines using your primary keyword 3. best option is to get (magic article rewriter and magic article submitter) take your time and rewrite every paragraph. remember unique articles. do not spam 4.have one link to your home page and 1 link to a sub page.(therefore giving you double entry in google as well as 2 backlinks per article) submit to article directories as well as web 2.0 sites here are some suggestions.. article directories zimbio, article city, article biz, article factory, artipot, american chronicles, ezinearticles, article feeder.article 99. great web2.0 properties.. redgage, typepad, blogevolve, triond, blogerty, blogger party, live journal, idnom, blogseme, wetpaint, vox, knol yousaytoo, mixx, hubpages, xomba, squidoo, tumblr, blogger, jimdo, xanga, infobarrel and weebly. fyi xomba s hot right now. bookmark every link.
You can get traffic if you work hard for it. Articles submitted to Hubpages get index very fast. Once you submit an article, you have to surf around the site and makes comments. You can also make sure of the forum there to increase visibilty of your article.
Hubpages is ok, its good to use it to look to high ranking articles rather than a direct link to your site however - or so my testing has shown anyway.
If you can write compelling content enough, you and your company or website would be attractive enough to get attention from readers. You will get both traffics and links, plus a reputation. Your best way to build up true long-term readership is build it up via community reputations. Hubpage is a long term branding way and not a short gain anyway.
Hub pages are articles and success depends on how good and interactive is your articles. you will get more traffic from hum member if you have good subject and well written article.
its not really to promote site, it gives you backlinks from your site. by that it increase your traffic
Their rules on self promotion are reasonably tight, I believe they only allow 2 deep links and your hubpage is not supposed to be explicitly promoting a service or product
I just signed up the other week and it seems to provide backlinks if you work it hard. I'm not sure if it is good for providing any traffic. IMO
