How do you use Channel in Adsense?

    What is the Channel for? people made it sounds like it is a VERY USEFUL tool. What is it for? how do you use it?:confused:

    If you have 200 pages on your website you'd add each URL to the URL channels. Then you'd see which page earns you the most AdSense income. Knowing this will enable you to write more pages like the top earners. If a page is earning you nothing you can tweak it until it does or not bother with making similar pages.

    Say, you have 10 websites then you cannot determin which website made you how much $$$..

    Channels can help you do so

    For example

    When you own one website you are able to see the results like page impressions, click etc of that website but if you own 2 or more then 2 websites then your adsense account will show combine impressions and clicks of all website on which you have placed adsense ads.

    So if you add your all domain on which you are displaying ads in channel option then adsense will show you separate results of all websites.

    What is the difference between Custom and URL channels? i can get what URL channels but could not understand much about custom channels!

    Put every site into it's own channel. Or if only one site, put each page or ad in it's own channel.
