I'm learning, "new to this" but I'm just messing around and I'm trying to follow the instructions. If your going to use a script for your website, how do you use it or install it? One of these documents said that I had to upload all the files to my ftp client and change permissions of following files and folders, USE CHMOD function and chmod to 77, how on earth do you do that? lol I went to my godaddy account and I downloaded FileZilla but I can't even login to my damn server. I got all the right info. Can someone please help me out?

First you upload all of the files that the install or readme text file may tell you about.

Using the chmod function within your ftp client requires you to right click on a file or folder that has been trasferred (uploaded) to the server where your web hosting account is and you can usually enter the numbers, like 777 or whatever else you have been advised to do.

Ive not used filezilla before, i use flashfxp.

When entering your details into the ftp client to login so that you can transfer files to your folder it wont be the same login details that you use for your client area.

There will be a domain, username and password to get connected to the server to transfer files through ftp.
