I wanted to start a thread that I think could benefit everyone, I would love to get some input on what other people are doing. The question in my title is mostly geared toward blog type of sites, where you might make a post daily in hopes of more indexed pages more link juice and better SERPS. What "formula" do you guys use for best results? Obviously we are all limited by the time we have, so it only makes sense to build a certain number of links to a given post before moving on. I typically make a post and do a digg and maybe an article for promotion and thats about it. What do you guys use to promote your new posts? Any software that makes it easier? I'd love to get some good stuff going in this thread, I mean specifics like "i make a post every day then I go digg that post and propeller it and then go promote another site"
Great idea for a post - hope it gets a good response. I do lots of things with my posts but one of the easiest things to do is get a your 'ping' list sorted out if you're using wordpress which ensures that all new posts are instantly pinged to all the services you specify.
