How do you up-grade wordpress?

    I have so many sites/blogs on the wordpress platform and it's about time I up-graded them all to the latest release...

    How do you up-grade wordpress?

    What version are they currently on if it is 2.1+ you can usually simply overwrite all the old files with the latest verison. if you have a lot of modifications then usualy best to make a backup to be safe

    If you are using fantastico, you can upgrade from its control panel. But of course you need to back up everything :)
