I want to turn a paint document I created into a picture that I can post to my profile picture for dp and warrior forum. how do I do this?
I assume you're using windows paint? Windows paint is very crude and probably not the best program for working with image files. In any case, it can still be done. First you have to size the image properly. You'll have to find out what size image you actually need first. Once you know that, then open you image in paint and record the current width and height attributes (image>attributes). Then you'll have to calculate what percentage of that size you need and then enter that percentage in the stretch section of image>scetch/scew. Once you have your image the right size, then you just need to save it in the correct format by going to file>save as and then from the "save as type" drop down menu, select the format you need.
download a paint program, there are some pretty good free ones. try gimp which is for animated images also try http://www.getpaint.net/ this one you can do online http://www.onemotion.com/flash/sketch-paint/ and if you decide to go pro look at adobe or corel products
