How do you track your split testing?

    Ok I'm brain picking here.

It's easy to do when you run a small account. You can simply check each AdGroup every day or so and when an ad has received X impressions/clicks/conversions, then make a decision as to which ad to drop.

But what's the most efficient way of doing this for those who have hundreds/thousands of Ad Groups? What's the best way of knowing just by looking, which Ad Groups need looking into? It wouldn't be efficent to have to manually go through each one as it would take all day.

    Your thoughts ...

That's the down-side to having hundreds or thousands of Adgroups.

Also, you'll get less data for each one, so it'll take longer to get significant results...

I'd suggest segmenting your Adgroups into high, medium and low traffic volumes.

Check your high volumes every day, or week, or however long it takes to get significant traffic levels for you.

Check your medium volumes less often.

Check your low volumes only very occasionally...

If i have so many adgroups (which i don't have now), i would do the following.

    1. Download all the compaigns into Adwords Editor
    2. I would scan thru those adgroups which got some of the most clicks and impressions and start tracking them first. By using Editor, I can sort through those things quite fast.
    3. I won't bother with those adgroups which have low impression/clicks for now.
