    Ok, now that I bought the software I don't know how to set this up. Could somebody walk me through this? I'd really appreciate I don't know how to code except for basic html skills, and have no idea how to setup this database. I e-mailed the person that created the software, but don't know if I'm going to get troubleshooting help or not.

    I don't understand how to create this database, and what host am I creating this database on? I don't have a website, I send traffic directly to the merchant. I do have webhosting, it doesn't have anything to do with my affiliate program.

    Thanks

    ok, I think I might have freaked out too quick, I think I got everything setup, I went into my hosting account and created a mysql database, copied the username/password, database name to the settings in the db_access.php

    Do I not have to put a copy of my keywords in this file anywhere, it doesnt mention anything about that in the readme.

    Also this part:

    // max number of referrers displayed
    $displayRows = 200;

    I have 10,000 keywords do I need to change that to, 10,000? I'm not going to get 10,000 clicks in one day, I don't know how the software works.

    After adjusting these settings, do I just send my AM the link in the readme for javascript or php? Do I send the exact same code as listed in the readme? Or do I have to edit the code? I don't have a landing page or anything, and the code has to go on the "thank you" offer of the merchants offer. Does my AM have to install this folder (affedit) on their system? Or do I just give them the link?

    Then I just login and check the referrers tab and this will display which keywords converted to sales, and not the keyword that was just clicked, correct?

    Will my keywords and referrer id's be secure? Will my AM's find out which keywords are converting?

    Thanks

    I set this up with a landing page I have went to google typed in the name of my site, I clicked on it, and affedit isn't recording the keyword.

    Sorry, I've never used it. Hopefully the creator will get back to you soon. This is the only reason I recommended you get KeywordRadar because there is nothing to install and no databases to set-up. It just requires pasting a small snippet of code at the bottom of your webpage.

    Yeah, I returned it, the creator of the software provided really good support. I dont have a landing page, and sending traffic directly to merchant, he said it's not going to work so I got a refund and keyword radar instead.
