How do you track visitors' path?

    Hi,
I would like to see every visitors path - from which referral he/she comes from. I read that I must create a user ID, is this right? Do you know how to do this?

    Thanks,
    Christina

See where? Trackers and webstats and such usually logs referrers - are you talking about if a user clicks a link with an embedded id or username or something, so that user gets credit for the referral?

I would like to see an activity report, which shows all the pages this specific user visited before and after visiting my page. I heard that this is possible by setting a goal on google analytics, but I'm not sure how it works. If this is possible, it would be a great tool for all e-commerce sites.
