I own the domains : SexForum.in and SexForum.co.in and I have finally decided to develop them. Basically I am unsure of how to develop these sites, my main two ideas are : Place to share and discuss pornography, obviously orientated around Indian or Bollywood pornography OR A forum where people can get sexual advice, talk about sex etc, like a section for Teens in need of information or help/advice for people from India? Anyone have any advice on which could turn into the most revenue? I would assume the second idea would generate more traffic, being that it would be widely open and helpful/useful and could generate unique articles etc. whereas the first idea is somewhat easier to earn profit with. nyone any thoughts or suggestions of your own?
Before you mentioned that yourself, I was thinking to suggest going for the second idea, too. vBulletin can handle thejob nicely now if you are interested in suggestions, and you will be able to turn traffic into cash using it, too.
thanks for your opinions guys, anyoen know of any discount voucher or special offers for vBulletin? £90 is a bit steep.
also as they are .in and .co.in I guess it would make more sense to make it indian based, rather then general
Its better not to put anything related to pornography or bollywood in view of sex. Indian CyberLaws are working only to catch those people. Even Indian Media is clever enough to look and expose them. Its better not to put any adult related matter/discussion in regard to bollywood actress or others. The 2nd option could be a choice, but you have to be careful on censoring the content/posts coming on if you want to avoid any legal hassles.
Well as I read it, and I admit I could be wrong, my host allows for adult material/content/discussions and is based in US Also as far as I know the .in and .co.in TLD's have no restrictions on them.
yes there is no restriction to register the domain name. all DNS to .in domains name have to route thru indian servers and indian IP , even all indian domain registrar have to follow this. Its not that you can host .in domain name outside india, you can any where in the world, but afterall .IN have to resolve DNS thru .INRegistry so you can be in trouble anytime. It is just a matter of chance, when you come in cop's eye.
Now that's an interesting fact to consider. How much can a .in domain be registered for? In USD if possible?
