I am only guessing but I think there would be 4 layers now - like say for german serps, all other things being equal, the order of preference would be 1. site with a .de domain 2. site with a .eu domain 3. site with a non .de, non .eu but within the europe extensions like say .uk 4. site with a .com domain
Why would this one be ranked before a .com, every other thing being equal elsewhere? in the same logic for spanish serps a .fr should be ranked before a .uk because france is closer to spain? that makes no sense to me I think there would be 3 layers for european serps: .country .eu .everything else and G knows !
It has been a few months and Google.eu is not online. I aslo have not seen any .EU domains in searches. Anyidee what Google is going to do with .EU?
