I am Hiram from China. I have worked as a marketing manager in a export-oriented company for years. As you know, most Chinese companies just offer OEM service for big brands. Few do their business on Amazon, Aliexpress, Ebay etc. In general, all of the products depends on the only advantage cheap. Now I build a website www.kol.space and want to contact some influencers on FB, TW, YOUTUBE etc, they can endorse for some start-up brands in China, or they build a brand and I help them to find high-quality factories to manufacture products with unique features. Then how can I promote my website and how do you think about influencer marketing? I s any similiar platforms or tools now? For me, I can find high-quality products and the factories, then cooperate with them. I promise the followers will like the products and they can get coupons from celebrities. Could it be a big business?
Yes, it works amazingly! If your product is relatively unknown to the market - it's going to be quite a challenge. Or you might not get big influencers to endorse your product. Why? Because most influencers that I know (mostly in B2B space) are afraid to lose their followers and they need to make sure the product is good and popular first. I think you need to get a professional website made because it seems you just use a cheap template.
Cann't gree with you more. Few companies have brands though they can provide superior quality products and that's why I think it may be a business. It's called brand personalization or other related. Then I would like to set a referal program that we offer coupons for their followers, for example, the customer only need to pay 80% of the original price and we reward the influencers 10%. Another choice is that the customers get a 70% price and we pay a small amout to influencers. In fact, we would like the influencers to build their own brand and we cooperate the brand with them on supply chain management. Maybe it's still need to be consider carefully. For the website issue, I just build it based on Wordpress with woocommerce integrated. It's terribly ugly and unprofessional for I am just an amateur know a little about PHP and Javascript. Thank you very much for your kind advice. I have tried tons of social media tools there days for the purpose to find out the potiential influencers with whom we may cooperate in the future, such as Klear, Klout, brand24 etc. But I am really puzzled that which one to choose and it seems that they are offering similiar service.
