So you've created a forum, hired paid posters, and rolled out the red carpets, but the only registered users are being paid or not posting...how long before you decide to call it quits if all your work has gone unreturned?

Is the subject matter important to you? Such as, is this a cancer support forum, drug abuse recovery or some other type of forum that can help others? How about a link to your site, why isnt it in your signature? How long has your forum been open? You can expect at least 8 - 10 months before a forum really takes off.

You have to be patient. If you are there just for quick money, stop now.

You will have to grow it like your own child (yes stupid way of putting it). But you will have to spend a lot of time taking care of it and upgrading, adding content etc. Only if you are active and your posts are worth it, will your members start to post more.

Don't just think about giving in like that, else you will never be able to succeed.
