How Do You Tell How Much A Domain IS Worth?

Hi y'all!

I'm new to DP & noticed that there's a section devoted to selling domain names.
I wasn't even aware that empty domain names were worth anything without am already established site design or content.

How can you tell which extensions will sell for more?

Also, Does the actual word usage/type affect the sale price?

If anyone knows of any sites I can get more info at, and or articles... I'd really appreciate any help!

Log into site selling domian like Nmacheap and see how much it costs. its pretty simple.

 

OK, I created an account with Namecheap.com.

BUt when I searched the marketplace, all I found was dmains for sale

Not a guide to proper selling prices etc..

I guess what I'm looking for is guide to help me choose the right domain name & what is reasonable to set as a selling price!
