I control stressful situations by reminding myself that nobody is perfect. And everything that is happening with us is a result of previous behavior or situations etc.

Playing games is a great option. I especially play Soccer (i love Pro-Evolution).
It can only suppress my anger if i win my opponent outrightly. But if the other way round, then there is a problem, i get even angrier.

Yell, scream rant and rave, then after I feel better I do deep stomach breathing, not as easy as it sounds but very good for stress and helping pain levels too.

Just forget about it or divert your attention to something else.

Whenever i am angry, I look at my youngest son, His innocence and smile always puts a smile on my face. They are source of my strength:).

OK this is one of those subjects where it depends on what made you angry.

If it was a problem with someone online then i simply think they obviously a dumbass and its not my fault they have no intelligence.

If it's a problem with people i know and have been a friend for a while, i bite my tongue or say something outright and deal with it on the spot. No point in beating around the bush and saying nothings wrong when there obviously is. Friends usually understand.

If it's something that stressed me out (Such as a website or some piece of coding), i find myself often listening to tunes and thinking about the problem until i come up with a solution. Its amazing how fast the brain can work if you let it.

If it's family, i tell them how it is. Whats the point in lying and saying nothings wrong or what they said didnt make me angry. Just tell them. If they can't handle it. It's their problem. Not mine.

Anything else isn't so much of a problem and can easily be done away with.(Blinking helps push away those thoughts.)

I am a very agressive and violent person due to health, i usually just hurt myself but i do have a habit of smashing things.

I used to let my steam of with boxing and exercise which was great now i cant due to some temp heart issues so i moved onto alcohol which was a bad idea.

You usually hurt yourself? I think you need counselling, and maybe a padded wall room too with nothing in it but a double sided mirror so that doctors and phsychologists can monitor your behavior.

Plus, if you have heart problems, stop drinking alcohol, it won't help your health.

So what do you do? When you are angry, you just burst & continue to be angry?
Or you just let it fade away?

Yeah this is a great way to suppress your anger. Just go online and make some money. Hardly would you find someone who does not feel happy after making money. Isn't is?
