Wow I am very impressed with this guy who own PlentyOfFish. How did he manage to bring in so many unique visitors to his site a day. I mean close to 1 million a day is a lot of traffic. I heard he makes close to a million in adsense for every 3 months. That is either a miracle or something very close to it. I mean word of mouth alone will not do it.
Wasn't that the first free "match.com" sized site ever made? It's always good to be the 1st at anything.

Actually, I think I recall some major media networks picked up on it and it snowballed from there. It's quite illuminating actually. Especially considering the code is a bit funny. The AR of the images is all wrong. Sex and dating sells. My roomate is a member of a bunch of sites that are all paid. Hence, that will be the approach I am taking. People will in fact pay for it. Right product, right time, right idea, right implementation + viral media and well the COST. People seem to like the idea for FREE. But last I read Match.com is pulling more than $20 Mil a year. So I'm wondering how much of a Genius he is? It's certainly time to sell - but what is it really worth?
