How do you submit to directories?

Bit of market research... thanks for your answers... id also be interested to know why you use that specific technique...

From my point of view i manually submit because i know that im submitting my details correctly, to the correct category and to the directories that i want to submit to - im also safe in the knowledge that ive submitted to x number of directories and that im steadily building up a good number of quality back links...

 

We use all methods except with never use the autocomplete tool

Plus we have a team of manual submitters

 

I use auto-complete form tool and submit myself ..Sometimes I do pay others to do that for me.

 

Till now i am doing it manually, and I submitted till now in all the directories myself only no help taken till now.

 

You should use auto-complete form tools,like RoboForm,it will save you a lot of time!

 

I submit myself manually to paid directories, free ones i have someone take care for me.

 

I submit using Informenter extension for firefox..
Its a semi-automatic tool, works like manual submission only.

I use a combination (roboform, paid, manual). Depends on how lazy/rich/bored I am.

And yeah, I would defintely not use paid submission service for paid directories as I need to use my own paypal account.

I submit manually and use this tool as well, and it is great, especially when submitting multiple sites. Now if I could only find a plugin like this for Safari, that would make my day.

I manually submit everything and do not use any reciprocals. This method although time consuming has worked out well.

I agree, getting one way listings is not a waste of time.

 

I am not surprised at the vote result. Though I used to use a software for a while I mainly do manually.
