how do you stream rtmp?

I was wondering how you can stream rtmp:// flv urls with either curl or file_get_contents() or readfile()

or turn it into a http:// url

any help would be appreciated.

 

Why are you trying to do that? It seems like a horrible idea. If it's for any kind of authentication, the server should be handling that..

 

I am trying to get spike.com flv links but they start with rtmp:// not http://

 

Use a RTMP player like http://flowplayer.org/plugins/streaming/rtmp.html
