Get a notebook and go somewhere else. I do this sometimes when I'm getting bored working on the same place over and over again.

And definitely, work without a tv.

Agreed. TV is a big distraction. A thing that could inspire you is music. At least it works for me!

TV can be a distraction but I have noticed that when I'm working, I barely pay attention to the TV and miss most of the show/news I'm watching.

The PC wins over the TV most of the time.

Well staying focused for me was always an issue because my mind is always thinking about so many different things. And then the phone rings, well another distraction... And round & round we go...

I don't like to advocate or endorse prescription drugs, but "Adderall" works wonders for the overachiever....

Overweight people have diet drugs, depressed people have depression meds & overachievers have "Adderall"

When i need to really focus, i disconnect my Internet connection, turn of the tv or radio and lock the office door. I also find that I'm more focused at different times of the day.

I can relate to that. I always have a big afternoon slump, so I either take that time to get out of the office and go for a walk or something, or I stay away from client work during that period and work on my own sites or get forum posting out of the way. Mine hits anywhere between 1 and 3pm.
