How do you start SEO for Client's website?

Any SEO expert would like to share some important tips that how to start SEO for a client's website? Especially the links building techniques.

At first we redesign the clients site for the SEO works..

 

I would start onsite first, although there was a time that I couldn't (the registration and hosting was being held by the last webmaster), and it still worked out okay. We got the site ranked for many keywords before we even changed the site. Then I'd look at the competitors, and try and do what they do, only better.

 

By the time client ask me if i can optimize his/her Website i usually do Site Analysis. There Listed my study about the website, and the rest are the recommendation and what will gonna do next and what will gonna happen after. Then second steps would be Onpage.

 

1- Every page title should be different (use your main keyword)
2- Use your main keyword in H1, related main keyword in H2
3- use your main keyword in bold, italic

My 2 cents

 

Start the project with the present seo status of the website. Do the keyword analysis and competition.

Then, make a good strategy for the website promotion.

 

First do a keyword research and on page optimize with it.Then start link building with that as anchor text.

 

Market Research

Basically analyze what the competition is doing, then make a plan on what to do. The plan in most cases is.

Keyword research
On Site SEO
Off Page SEO - Link Building
High PR Links
Couple Hundred Low PR Links

With that formula your pretty much set to go.

 

First you do Pre Analysis of website. Its helpful you to know about your client website. Next step is compititor Analysis and keyword searching. Then start on page optimization and offpage optimization.

 

First do a pre analysis of the site . see what has been done and what more can be done. Then do:
Keyword research
Competitor analysis
on-page opt.
off-page opt.

 

1. Try analysing your website first. Look at how your competitors has optimized their site. Change accordingly, but only in a better way.

2. Then after optimizing the On-Page, move to the off page, check the links and the backlinks of your competitors. try to gain links from they have ad try making more, all in a way that seems natural
