How do you start a Directory? (A serious question, I kid you not!)

But plan to use $xxxx in personal time due to your dedication.

Bottom line is everything can be driven down into a money based standpoint and perspective. All it depends on is the value you place on yourself to calculate your 'bottom line'

Not to be anal about it, but that is just plain rude. I'm merely asking a question about free scripts.. I don't think that deserves the 'quick bucks' label.

You don't know me or my motivations concerning Directories and so I find your retort to be rather presumptuous. Let's not get into personal attacks and stay civil, shall we :)

It's nothing personal. It's taken from your own words... and I quote

    Chain of events....

    1. bitch about $25 dollars
    2. get people telling you quit while your ahead due to cheapness.
    3. excuse oh no its ok im not cheap(heoheoheohahha just kidding guys) i'll put out a few hundred, to cover your self image
    4. Q.B.C.'d... to late for recovery.

    <!----- The End -----!>

And if you think that was some some of 'retort' I gave you by citing and cataloguing you as a QBC, then that's on you. I just call it how I read it, and you've been read. Good Luck.

I respect your opinion. I just don't think you should label or criticize someone in a public forum just so you can seem superior by 'reading' someone's intentions. If that is not your intention, apologies.

Read that I asked for a definition of QBC and nothing else. Wasn't asking your opinion if I was QBC or not. Applying it to a person and calling it in public is irrelevant to the thread and definitely insulting, because of the negative connotations related to the term 'QBC' itself.

This just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If you have any thing to say or want to talk to me about it, please PM me in private.

I jumped on the "start a directory" bandwagon less than a week ago. Make sure you submit to http://www.directorycritic.com and make announcements here at Digitalpoint and other webmaster forums every so often.

I have no idea if itll end up being profitable but its fun to dissaprove crappy spam sites, it makes you mad with power.
