I am about to set up a couple landing pages. The main question I have is how do YOU do your pages. Do you create a main site and then just create the different landing pages - or - do you create a different domain for each product and have that site be only for your landing page? Additionally, what are your thoughts about using Wordpress and creating multiple landing pages using it?
Well I'm not an expert with creating landing pages, but I would think creating single page and domain for each would be ideal. So the site doesn't turn into a browse kind of store. So its direct and about one thing. Wordpress would be fine, but making it not look like a blog would be only draw back if no design customizations were made to the wordpress. Wordpress is one powerful CMS. Best of luck! Dylan Jones
I do a mixture of both. Sometimes I create a main site and create a separate landing page, like I've done with my internet marketing site, but sometimes I will just create a one page site. Both work just as well as each other.
I am having a bit of trouble setting these pages up. Any nice bloke willing to show me their landing page?
Here's one I use that converts reasonably well. I have other comparison & review type landing pages that do pretty well as well, however. -T
Thanks I appreciate it very much! I like the comparison / review idea. I wont do any for that niche since you helped me out. Thanks again.
Question: Would you ever use or have you used squidoo as a landing page? I'm thinking of using it as a "How to do this..." - Would it be wise to send PPC traffic to squidoo?
As far as using this niche, well, it's pretty wide open (what affiliate marketer ISN'T in the make-money-online niche..) so feel free to copy or replicate as you like! Squidoo is an interesting concept - I'm just now taking the time to learn all about its benefits and how it can work with affiliate marketing. I think it is definitely worth creating a Squidoo lens on your product in general, but I personally think there's a little too much "noise" on Squidoo to make it the most effective way to make sales from PPC (vs. having a specific landing page set up just for that product). -T
Iv just signed up with clickbank, this will be my first experience with them...Lets hope its a good un!
