I sell my network and PC cables via my ecommerce website, eBay, and Amazon. I mostly use SEO and SEM, though I have also tried direct mail, telemarketing, banner ads, PR, strategic alliances, trade shows, and print advertising. Some worked and some did not.
eBay is one of the only methods i've used up until now, just setting up an ecommerce store to see if that helps make some more sales.
i use a ecommerce website fastcommerce.com to set up an online store to sell my products. I met fastcommerce.com accidentally in Google. It is helpful for me. You can try it. Maybe it is helpful for you, too,and you will like it.
That's a very big question. There are hundreds of possible answers. The specific answer depends on the product, the market, the research, the current interest, and many other factors. Perhaps finding a personal coach/mentor would be a better option for you.
I have a long list of very good contacts that I email or call whenever I want and I outsource the work to them. I tell them what I want, when I want it done by and how much I am willing to pay. They will then accept or decline the deal. If they accept they will work really hard to reach the targets that I set so that they get the money that wanted. Its a good method as I can accurately predict how my contacts work after using them a few times so when clients come to me I can provide an accurate timeline for when their project will be finished. If a client asks me to shift all of their stock I can tell them how long it will take etc. The best way to do what you want to do is by having a list of people who you want rely on that you can outsource to. Let them specialise in the field while you project manage otherwise you can spread yourself too thin. Good Luck Web-Master
Discount and Buying points accumulation. If a customer buys more products from my store, I will give her more discount when the points reach a degree.
Have you looked at the prices that ebooks are getting on eBay these days? Everything that I have heard lately is that eBay is NOT the way to go for ebooks due to the low prices they are selling for versus the craxy fees that eBay charges. Be sure that the economics will work for you before paying to set up a store.
eBay doesn't work for the products I sell. They always get listed alongside much cheaper but poorer quality stuff and all people see is that my prices are higher. Instead I rely on good SERPs performance and trial downloads to let people try before buying.
