I started blogging around 4 months ago and I am trying my best to put informative content in there but I don't know why I don't have many subscribers? My content is not good? or I should wait some more time to get people's attention and interest? I get around 50-60 visitors daily but yesterday my blog's PR changed from PR1 to PR3 so I hope I will get more visitors now Please comment on the content of my blog (www.decentweblog.com) and if you like you can subscribe to RSS feed too
What if the name of your site was DecentLookingGirls? Personally I think you are killing your efforts with the name right from the start. And there are millions of pages on design. Think about walking into a public library and going to the Design/Art Section. What books would you pick up. The one on Decent Design?
All my sites have this word "Decent" and that's why when I decided to start blogging I used this word. I don't see anything wrong with the domain at all, seriously. It can "Never" kill my effort that's for sure. What I wanted to know was about the content. If you come to my blog and read some posts do you find them useful or find same like other thousands of blogs?
PR doesn't bring more visitors, its a nice looking blog, i imagine theres many blogs providing similar material, it may just take time for its popularity to grow.

I noticed that you are using the all in one seo pack, are you utilising the title, & description as effectively as you can, to me the answer is no ... You may want to think about having a visible icon for RSS feed at the top of the page, (icons usually attract more people to it, so may help you get more subscribers). Have you promoted you blog, i.e. any directory submission, submitted your tutorials to any tutorial sites etc ? I would also recommend installing the google-sitemap-generator plugin and creating a sitemap (i did not see a sitemap) : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
Yes, I have set the titles and description for my blog. I am not very good in SEO but I have tried my best. Any suggestion for me? Actually when I designed my blog it did not have RSS button(s) in there but now I will try to add RSS button there. Yes I submit my tutorials to different websites, social bookmarking sites. I think I have this plugin, I will check. Thank you very much.
Your content is good, PR doesn't mean anything to me... I don't care a damn about your PR... coz I understand that most of the visitor to your site doesn't have toolbar that shows your PR. Do you have any fellow blogger working in this area? Most of times, they help each other by featuring their tutorial post. Given your ability, start networking with blogger that might link back to your post. Those who appreciates your post, and interested in web/graphic design. I am one of it eventhough my blog doesn't focus on this, but yes... I will help you promote your post when I realize the author appreciate their readers. so, good luck on networking.
