    Put your Adsense code in the template, don't try and "post" it.

    As mentioned above, you must be trying to put it in your posts when you should be putting it in your template. I can send you the source code of my blog template want to see an example of how it's done.

    Just two things I am wondering:

    1) How does Adsense get the content for good (correct) content based ads when there's no content in the neighborhood of the template?

    2) If you have fixed this problem in your source code I'd like to see it (or if you'd rather, just explain it)

    1) AS reads the resulting content when the template is combined with the posted messages and everything else.

    2) I've attached my blogger template to this post.

    Check this blog : http://pariswhilton.blogspot.com/

    I placed the adsense code after this part

    <!-- Begin .post -->
    <div class="post"><a name="<$BlogItemNumber$>"></a>

    <BlogItemTitle>
    <h3 class="post-title">
    <BlogItemUrl><a href="<$BlogItemUrl$>" title="external link"></BlogItemUrl>
    <$BlogItemTitle$>
    <BlogItemUrl></a></BlogItemUrl>
    </h3>
    </BlogItemTitle>

    <!--my ADSENSE code here -->

    in the "Template" section of your blogspot.com blog.
    Hope this helps...

    You can also "embed" AS so that the ads display above and below your entries. Some people claim that they've increased their clickthrough percentage using this method, but I personally don't like it because you would then have to limit the your blog settings to a maximum of 3 entries on the main page.
