I've been trying to put a subscription form/box page my blog and/or website, so that i may get the visitors information to send them "helpful :D" information.

    How do i do this?

You need a form that collects their e-mail address. You can either have the form e-mail you what the user enters or store the results in a database and intergrate it with a newsletter tool.

Most visitors do not care to give out their e-mail address to random sites on the internet unless there is a good incentive.

Are you using an 'opt-in' form such as Aweber or Getresponse? (if not, you *should* be, for more reasons than I can even begin to explain here).

If you use one of these services, they give you clear instructions on how to add the form to your page.
