Hi - i'm just wondering what is the best way you found to protect yourself from clients requesting their money back? - i have a store that does close to 100 transactions / month about 3-5 every month are fraudulent - some i can catch like from florida deliveries to some warehouse - usually addresses that look normal but have a U13511 at the end of it - i know they're fraudulent but i have lost quite a bit of $ monthly on transactions that look legit. I have started to call any customers that spend more than $300 on a purchase especially when billing/shipping addresses are different, but how can stop this completely? Thoughts/discussions are welcome
My suggestion would be, for placing orders above $100, you would need to approve it yourself. Before approving, create an Invoice in PP and send it to your customers. This way PP cannot suspect a fraud from your end. But I do not know what if customers say, they don't have a PP acc and want to pay by CC. Maybe you can contact PP and ask them if you can send an invoice to cust and ask them to pay by CC.
appreciated if someone lights upto the matter. i have read lots of complains about this chargeback **** paypal suddenly becomes Messiah and asks the buyer "ohhh!! have been cheated ??" wait i will help you getting your money back.
