That's astonishing. Do you have to put your email address up on a website, or something?

I don't have a catch-all email address set up, so mail sent to won't get through. I have about 15 email addresses, and I delete one or two and add some new ones every month or so. I set up new email addresses for specific tasks, like directory submissions, then delete them after 8 months or so and set up new ones. This works well.

My main spam problem comes from old email addresses that I used to have online, before moving to forms. It's just a PITA sometimes to change them, and inform all of my important contacts. But using forms with a decent captcha instead of putting email addresses online has definitely improved the spam situation, I get very little spam on newer email addresses.

I put together a system that protects email addresses of people I want to recieve email from, forces verification of new senders allowing me to receive their message if I want to or putting their address into a do not accept list. I've been able to eliminate 99.9% of my spam that way without missing friendly emails (which many spam filters end up putting a percentage of those into your junk email bin and since most people don't take the time to sort through their junk emal, some of the messages you want end up getting deleted). It works with Outlook Express for POP3 email addresses. I'm currently working on an auto-install program which will allow people to signup for the service and have it start working for them right out of the box. PM me if you would like more info.

If Tim would stop sending me naked pics of himself my 'unwanted' email and or 'spam' would be a fraction of what it is now!

    :p

Some spams are automatically filtered to my spam box. For those that managed to get pass the spam filter, I will have to delete them manually. At times, it can be quite irritating.
