I wanted to know that how you guys are promoting your websites, PPC or artcle marketing? I lost near about $46 from one site doing PPC, what to do?
I wouldn't really recommend PPC for an Adsense site. Since this is posted in an Adsense forum I will assume that's what we're talking about here. Go for free methods of site promotion. Dean
article submission,press release submission will do a lot.also use socialmarker.com for the social bookmarking of your site
Writing articales has been very good but just experimenting with twitter at the moment and not sure if others use that as a way of promoting there sites ???? Why dont you add your site/s to you signature that is also a good way.
Adwords works great to get your site noticed and "out there" when you first launch. The trick is to offer something that keeps folks coming back, so that the money you spend is not wasted on just one visit. Keep them coming back and you will eventually build up enough traffic to make it worth it.
I still use SEO for the best traffic, and social bookmarking for helping to get more additional visitor.
I use SEO, social sites, and commenting on other blogs. I save some of my longer comments for the high traffic site.
or 'arbitrage' as it is known. SEO beats adsense hands down in my book - you can build an infrastructure that will bring you free traffic from all the search engines, as well as the web at large. Also, you have NO idea what google does behind the scenes with your account. There's no independent auditing of their claims. Fortunately for Google, there is a constant stream of newbs coming along with a fresh credit card and the Rich jerk.
There are adsense millionaires out there so Adsense is *not* just for newbies. Did you mean SEO beats PPC? If so, there's no reason why you can't do SEO and then gear things up with PPC on top of the organic traffic on non adsense sites. Dean
