I have 82 articles on ezine, associated content, buzzle and goarticles. Do you simply submit all 82 to all 4 other sites as is or do you rewrite them? Also what else do you sugges to market them, social bookmarkinig sites, digg? While I won't do it all at once, any suggestions on how much is too much?

You will get more link juice if you rewrite them. You can change up the content and use it for a blog, or web 2.0, as long as it is not duplicate content. Google will catch up and remove the duplicate content or not give you link juice for all of them.

Don't rewrite them. Duplicate articles is going to lower their value.
Social bookmarking is your best bet.
Other then that, build links to your articles through blog commenting or through here (signature links)

You can spin them using something like magic article rewriter. Then you can submit them to more directories using something like unique article wizard. This is more for links than traffic. You can bookmark them using a semi-automated tool such as onlywire. Link to them from other websites, forums, blogs, articles. Should get you going. Do it in a planned manner and not all at once.

Good question: All of the articles I have written are in a very competitive market and as I would like to have them read as often as possible want them to rank higher in the SERPS. My articles are just like blog posts and I think promoting them is beneficial increase my position in the serps. The time spent is well worth it as at the same time I am building backlinks to my blogs, site, deep linking to my inner pages................................Am I the only one doing this? I promote everything as long as it is cost effective. I twitter my articles, stumble them, heck I will dance naked in the streets if necessary.

I think it is good to build few links to the articles so the can be indexed faster, making it a worth link to your site. I would do fast links such as social bookmarking.

Most article directories provide social networking/bookmarking buttons with each article published, whenever I submit an article and it is accepted I always click the twitter, facebook, digg, stumbleupon etc. buttons. This quickly builds traffic to the articles and in turn to my site.

What if articles are on a wordpress blog associated with the site? Does re-posting them for seo on the site help?
