what about article directory?

is anything there? and how to go about promotion of it?

I guess you could buy links to your site to get traffic from those sites and build juice to get some traffic from the search engines.

There was a post a weeks ago strongly suggesting that an article directory was going going to be a tough call, due to saturation and many falling by the wayside ( just do a search and you should find it )

What does not surprise me is the amount of people who go i have a new xyz, how do i promote it and how do i make money.

these are questions that should be asked before starting not afterwards.

 

You can always buy PPC ads. Also do link exchanges.

 

Just like you do from any other website, sell advertising...

The only difference is you're not the one coming up with the content the visitors are.

But before you think about making any money you need to build a strong link base, and get some organic traffic, if not you will not get much high quality articles being submitted as the real article marketers won't even bother.

 

You don't. Write some original content and forget the article directory angle.
