Just wondering who I should pick. There are so many choices. I would rather have a stead stream of income rather than just big dollar payers that will die out. Any help would be great.
Personally, I would promote merchants with a good destination page. I will not care about other stats. If it is a lead offer, it should be straightforward "Sign up" message and if it is a product, the destination page must be able to explain everything and the call to action in the top fold. To conclude everything, I promote merchants based on their destination pages.
To test the waters, so to say, start with the advertisers that offer leads. Some advertisers pay if someone signs up or downloads a piece of software (like a toolbar) and although the commissions are not high, those are easier to get.
Is there any way to filter advertisers just to see only those with lead? Is there any way to sort advertiser based on the fixed (Not %) dollar commission?
Just compare and go with which one you like the best. Try to strike a balance between which one YOU would be most likely to buy from if you were the customer. Which one has the best selection? Best prices? The most comfortable "vibe" on their site?
This is how I pick in CJ. Sell to others as you would want sold to you. Pick programs you have a passion for and sell them in a way you would want products marketed to you. It sounds corny, but its worked for me. For just that reason, I don't sell shoes on CJ(I wear cruddy Reeboks] Good luck. -Patz
It depends on the advertiser. I have one sitting there since November 2007. I am not going to write to them.
There are those who will automatically approve your application, but after some days, the advertisers changed their decision and removed you from the program without clear explanation.
