Hey Guys, I have been having some decent success with Clickbank, but I just don't have the time to write articles myself. So, I am planning on outsourcing all of my article writing. I was wondering what the best way to go about this is, do you have to have some sort of contract or something? How do you ensure that you won't get ripped off? How do you go about finding a good freelance writer? Also, I was wondering if anybody here would like to write articles for me, I would pay approximately $4-$5 per article written. Thank you, Matt
Yeah, post in the content section, you can specific a whole spec for what you want, ask for previous work samples etc - you could also check Elance, Get A Freelancer and other sources like that - $4=5 is pretty reasonable and you should be able to find someone decent for that.. but it is always a little hit and miss I have found when looking for article writers.
Content Creation section is the best place to get started outsourcing your articles. When you hire someone, make sure that she is not new here. I'd personally take a quick look at the member's feedback and previous posts. It is good to hire someone who has been a member for atleast 6 months, the older the better.
I've had good success with getafreelancer.com. I find the key is to write clear job descriptions and to screen the applicants well. Unfortunately, I generally only trust experienced freelancers with good feedback. Right now I have a great writer in India who is producing great articles for $3.50 per 500 words. There are, of course, a lot of crappy writers to sort through, but generally it isn't hard to tell if someone is good or not based on their feedback. You can also give them a test job as well to see how they perform, if you have any doubts. Generally I'll get 20 to 30 different writers who will bid on my projects, and I don't pay until I've received the articles and checked them for grammar and plagiarism issues. Hope that helps.
