I have a horror movies blog from Blogger and yet all the ads are not even remotely targeted to the theme of the blog. Is there a way to optimize these ads?
You might try removing the Adsense blocks on there now and let Google recache it without the ads. Just add some new content and ping it, or get some links after you've removed the ads. A couple days later, put the ads back on. I've seen that work in the past for inexplicably poor targeting like that. Also, you didn't ask, but you're never gonna get much in the way of clicks with your ads where they are (vertical along the right-hand side). That's about the worst placement. Try upper left where your content begins. That's the hottest hot spot. Should help a lot once you get the targeting squared away. John
Try to insert the ads after the articles, because readers maybe want to read more after reading your articles
movies blog ?? - the ads are not going to be targeted.the ctr might not be impressive too.the cpc would definitely suck - been there done that the best thing to do is to switch to another niche. But if you are too concerned about carrying on with the movies blog then that is fine. You can aim for high traffic and bring in couple of dollars per month.
