I understand that theres the money factor but at hertzberg (not spelt right) said money is not a motivational tool... The reason i ask is that so far ive worked on 6 click bank products, 3 were dead ends 2 are converting ish and the thirds just creeping up the search engines. Ive been: Writting articles and submitting them Making youtube videos (just started so testing) Using social bookmarking SEO And so on However i find myself getting bored of my lower converting niche of the 2, i have 4 websites on it and have 1 site left to make... pretty much just because i bought the domain so i might as well use it... I like to make websites for my products as i find they rank better, however im jsut sick of the niche.. in fact ill tell you its mafia wars... im not a fan of the game so writting articles on it is not so fun lol The other niche ive been working on has been worked to death in my personal oppion at 3 websites and my new ones currently waiting on pete (HURRY UP) But after my mafiawars website that earned the most, getting 200+ views daily got sandboxed and dropped to 50 (yesterday/today) i just ... well feel really low after all the work, any one use anything special to keep motivated?
Being self reliant and not relying on someone else to provide for me is probably what motivates me. Obviously the more money the better... but money isn't actually what motivates me.... I got to writing about 30 articles in the same niche for three different products, then I started to feel pretty worn out so I started writing for another product in a different niche and enjoyed it a lot more. I think i'll just do that in the future... keep switching between products so I don't get bored. I haven't got to the stage where I'm doing other SEO like forum and blog postings as i'm just testing out products.
Its not easy, but every day its either work for someone else or get up and just do it. Yes if the money does roll in that's a huge lift. Actually now that I think about reading DP helps...
It's my true passion. I have those days when things are great then all of a sudden have a week with nothing, and keep going. PERSISTENCE. I set away for a day - Ground myself (Re-Read Some Books) - And jump back in fresh and ready. But it is important I believe to give yourself a break - Unplug

ice creams bad for you creats more flem, been on water for the last 10 days, taking near 20 tablets lol i had the worst luck: Tonsil removal, 2 days after it got infected, one day after that i got shingles of the throat and 6 mouth ulcers. Finally the shingles and most mouth ulcers are gone. But yer sometimes we hit the wall in order to find new ways to our end goal (money and work we enjoy)
I think the best way to keep motivated is to diversify. I don't mean that you change products but change to a different internet strategy. I love clickbank and plimus and the likes but there is many more ways to make moeny online aswell. When you feel you have had enough of writing articles go do something that will make you money but what you find more enjoyable. Do research there is a lot of things you could do as a time filler and a break from writing articles. Thanks Pete
Lol i can live on my day job but id prefer to quit that and go online instead. @ I do have breaks, problem is with being up for so long only managing 30 mins naps 4 times a day is that you carnt focus so even though i have ideas i jsut have to write them down because i loose concentration whilst doing it. My break is coming onto DPand handing out advice...... and asking for it...
How do I motivate myself? If I don't make the online moniez, I will effectively be a loser. And being a loser means this: not being able to get women that would otherwise be out of my league without the online moniez (or any women at all). Making Money= 99% of life. The other 1% represents me thinking about making money. And when I die, it will all be burnt with my body. I'll never leave my online moniez to anyone!!!!! Why? Because online moniez are not regular moniez. They weren't earned from "the man." They were earned with determination, will and the sheer audacity to believe that it's possible to make a living on the inter-webs. No one deserves my moniezs. They were painstakingly earned by me. Am I gainfully unemployed? Absolutely. Will I ever work for the man ever again in my life? Absolutely NOT! Would I rather have rope tied to each my limbs, a horse on my right and a horse on my left? You bet. This is my motivation. I want to be disgustingly rich. Do some people become disgusting rich through IM? Depends on your definition of rich. Ultimately, working my way to a better quality of life is my motivation. And I want women. Lots of them.
Some ideas: Adsense - if I'm not making sales, adsense will provide SOME money and give me a target to beat with affiliate. People moan about adsense, but in the right niche it isn't too bad. Traffic - setting goals around getting more targeted traffic through SEO. More traffic = more money when you do eventually get the product and presale correct. Write a list of 10 things that should either (a) increase your profit or (b) increase information on why you are not making a profit Pat yourself on the back for what you have learned so far, and for what you have achieved. I remember when I got excited about having 10 subscribers on a mailing list. Now I get 10 a week. One day it'll be 10 a day, 100 a day etc. Help people on DP, or ask questions, good to know you are in the same boat as others. If you are paid well in the day job, cut back on your lifestyle and use some of your day job money to outsource some of the work, which should speed up development. If you are paid not so well, then see if it is possible to cut your hours, and cut your lifestyle (probably to a monk level) so you have more time for IM and therefore speed up development.

Love it you wrote my life there @mcapod - I am plannign to quit my day job by the end of this month and go fully online, its jsut a saturday job now so its jsut a little money in my pocket. Saved up a bunch to start making a real investment [outsourcing. seding up production] and a real drive to sell CB procuts so lets hope it doesnt kick me in the back

You answered your own question. If you dont like it, then dont promote....who cares about the money. Would you work at a place you hated to make $2 more an hour or work somewhere you loved for $2 less??? I promote health products but i enjoy doing it so writing articles is easy and when it is easy it is more fun and done in half the time. I also love to do webpages and with health products you can make them look pretty cool. I too promoted a product on male enhancement b/c it paid awesome but i hated it. writing articles was horrible and trying to come up with pictures and content just sucked!
