You can't judge success by money alone. I know too many people in my own family who are rich but miserable. To me money has always been important, but I also know how it can imprison you. The best way to see if you're successful is to ask yourself if you're truly happy and then see whether or not you can afford the things that you want to. If the answer is "yes", then you have it made.

Very true. The SUBJECTIVE part of success can't be emphasized enough.

I think most people who are honest with themselves would say that they consider success to be the ability to do what you want - whether that's helping other people, traveling the world, or just spending more time with your family.

That reminds me, anyone seen the miniseries "Long Way Round" with Ewan McGregor where he decides to take a holiday around the world on a motorbike? IMHO, that's the way to use success for good.

I also 17 trying to make money from the internet, I design web sites and work on other people sites, I make more money than most of my friends but I'm also trying to make a few sites for myself that will work to make money. I dream of the millionaire lifestyle everyday, you probably do also.

Everyday I dream of having money and going places that I could never afford.
And I also agree with ncz_nate, money can't buy happiness, thats why I don't always focus on money. There are lots of other important things that we should focus on to make us happy instead of money. Money can't buy happiness but it can buy lots of things I need and it can help me with a lot of my dreams and goals.

Well, I am 14, and I make more money sitting in front of the computer then my friends do working at restaurants, so I am successful in my opinion. I also go outside, and have an active social life
